The fashion industry generates enormous textile waste every year, and most people still buy new clothes for short-term use. While second-hand platforms exist, they often focus on selling, not sharing. Many people have closets full of unused clothes but find it difficult to lend or exchange them in a convenient, trustworthy way.

The challenge
Designing an app that unites trust, hygiene, logistics, simplicity, connection, and social engagement into one cohesive flow. Existing platforms only solve fragments of this problem. Toda needed to deliver all these elements in a way that feels safe, familiar, and community-centered, while encouraging the continued use of clothes in eco-friendly ways.
The solution
Toda turns clothing exchange into a social, trusted experience between friends. Users share only with people they know, making borrowing safe and personal. Pick-ups and returns happen face to face, adding a cozy, local touch that strengthens real connections. The app lets users browse friends’ wardrobes, filter items, track what’s borrowed, and chat or comment with outfit photos and tips. Designed to feel familiar and intuitive, Toda makes sustainable sharing effortless and enjoyable.
